There is a water centre at the harbour if you fancy getting into (or under) the turquoise blue waters. You can try diving, jet ski-ing and windsurfing. Local boat trips can be arranged either for fishing or in a glass-bottomed boat or you could just sit by the harbour enjoying a drink or a meal and enjoying the beautiful view.
Caleta now has two 18 hole golf courses, one of which has hosted the Spanish Open. Both are about a 5 minute drive from Casa Mariposa. Fuerteventura's cooling breeze means that golfers can enjoy the game even in the warmest summer months. Golf clubs and buggies are available for hire and there are also restaurant and bar facilities in the clubhouse, both at Fuertevenura Golf Club and Las Salinas next door.
